Diamond Info

Diamonds have a sparkle and luster superior to almost any other gemstone. Since being first discovered by primitive man, diamonds have been recognized as something special and apart from every other gemstone. Diamonds have become a symbol of wealth and excellence. Diamonds are the hardest natural substance in the world. They are graded based on “The Four C’s.” Which are: Carat Weight, Clarity, Color, and Cut.

Each of "The Four C's" affects the value of a diamond.

More Info

Carat Weight:
A measurement of weight. 1.00 carat (ct) = 0.2 grams (g)
Clarity:
Diamonds naturally have inclusions or spots and blemishes inside them. Clarity considers and measures the quantity, position, color, nature and size of inclusions within a diamond.
Color:
Diamonds can be colorless but can also naturally have some color in them. The color can be yellow, brown, blue, or any color of the rainbow. Diamonds are graded on a scale which considers the strength of the color within them.
Cut:
Diamonds are so beautiful because of the special way in which they reflect light. Certain cutting proportions have been found to maximize the beauty potential of a diamond. Diamonds are graded based upon how well they reflect light.
